House Animi's Trip to King Market!

A special thanks to Sam, the owner of King Market and King Grill. He was super generous and made House Animi feel welcomed! Sam shared his culture with House Animi & referenced his religious practice known to the Muslim population as, Ramadan. He allowed students to sample cookies from Holland, Halal marshmallows, & Turkish Delights. Sam has a variety of foods from many countries like India, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Pakistan, Bangladesh, as well as other countries in the Middle East. King Market is located at 1001 S. Solano Dr. Shukran, SAM!

Special thanks to our very own Matthias Pino and to his father Mr. Bennie Pino for coming in and sharing their Native American Heritage with MVLA. Mr. Bennie Pino doted on his Apache family lineage all the way to Geronimo. Mr. Pino shared personal artifacts and their stories along with allowing students to shoot the bow and arrow made from natural materials.
